A grade II listed building constructed in two phases between 1897 and 1903. Originally used as a corn exchange it has since been used for different purposes until 2014 when it was re-developed with lower floors being converted into restaurant and bards. Phase 2 of the re-development was
to refurbish the upper floors into a boutique style hotel for the Roomzzz brand providing 114 rooms and suites.
Team ME Services Ltd provided the full electrical and mechanical services for 114 rooms and suites together with the common areas which was completed for the opening on 12 February 2018.
The scope of works included the installation of new mains distribution, lighting, small power, fire alarms, data, CCTV, door access, TV, video intercom. Mechanical services included 4 pipe fan coil system, heating and chilled water, ventilation, domestic hot & cold plumbing services, above ground drainage, sanitaryware and BMS
